The transition into menopause can take ten years or more. During menopause and perimenopause (the period before menopause) many women struggle with annoying systems like hot flashes, hormonal imbalance, anxiety, fatigue, irregular menstrual flow, increased cramping, insomnia, and mood swings.
Yoga for Menopause offers tools to find relief from the annoying symptoms that plague us during menopause. The class will include:
Information on the physiology of menopause
Common symptoms and issues experienced by women in perimenopause and menopause
A discussion of yoga poses and breath work practices that can help relieve your symptoms naturally without medication
A gentle and accessible yoga practice that you can adapt for home use
About the instructor: Rose Bak is a RYT-200 yoga teacher who has a passion for teaching people in large bodies, those who are new to yoga, those who are aging, people living with chronic pain, and people with back issues like scoliosis. Rose became interested in using yoga and meditation as a way to manage her own transition into menopause and is excited to share her learning with other women experiencing “the change”.
